Exton is more than a place.

It is a reminder that the places we love never truly leave us.

In the final years of her life, our grandmother often spoke of returning to Exton, the small Jamaican community where she was raised. Even as so many memories began to fade, Exton remained. It was the place her heart never forgot. 

She reminded us that home is not simply where we live. It is where our story begins.

When the opportunity came to build on land that has been in our family for generations, there was never another name this home could carry.

Exton Escape was created in her honor and became Chapter I of the James + Parker Collection.

It is the beginning of a larger story—one that honors the generations who came before us while creating places where future generations can gather, reconnect, and write memories of their own.

Because we believe the most meaningful homes are not remembered for their architecture alone.
